Props are used to assist students in their poses. Our instructors offer many modifications to make this class suitable for every student.

Yin & Restore

This 75 minute non-heated class is designed to stretch connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). The first half of the class will explore a variety of seated and supine poses typically held for 1 to 5 minutes. The remainder of class will be restorative poses to unwind the body and ease the mind. This class is accessible for students of all levels.

kundalini

Our 75 minute Kundalini class dynamically combines physical and spiritual exercises- chanting, asana (physical postures), pranayama (breath work), mudra (hand positions), and meditation- to balance/open energy centers (chakras) and bodily systems, as well as raise consciousness and awareness. Each practice will focus on a different energy center or bodily function. Good for all levels and abilities, as this practice is not strictly a challenging asana practice. The practice can be done on a mat, blanket or "sheepskin". Covering your head or wearing all white for our Kundalini classes is not required but you are welcome to do one or both, especially if it will make you feel more connected to the practice.

Community Class

This hour-long, non-heated, vinyasa class is donation-based and benefits a different local organization each month. We suggest donating around $5-10 but no one will be turned away for lack of payment. Our goal is to make yoga accessible to everyone—we want you here!

friday unwind

If your week is just getting started or coming to a close, you might need some Friday Unwind in your life. Come breathe and stretch in a series of mindful movements. This community class is non-heated, all-level, accessible, and taught by a trauma-informed instructor. We suggest donating around $5-10 but no one will be turned away for inability to pay.

Agada Yoga + Satsang

A monthly donation class to bring people from all different pathways of recovery together to share and connect in a person-centered, safe space.  This class meets every 4th Friday.

Agada- Sanskrit word meaning freedom from affliction
Satsang- a gathering of like-minded people
Asana- practice of physical postures in yoga

Each session will incorporate a recovery-focused theme with relevant asana, meditation and sharing to follow. This offering is open to all levels of yoga experience and to anyone who identifies as being in recovery. We do however ask that attendees avoid arriving under the influence of substances and do not bring mind-altering substances to the studio, as we want to honor the group as a whole.
